The Georgia Tech IXP1200 driver was written to provide an development
interface to multiple Intel IXP1200-based Radisys ENP2505 cards placed
in a PC running Linux. The driver provides both kernel modules and
user processes with access to all of the IXP1200's exportable memory
resources. User access is provided via mmap'able /proc files. The
driver also provides hooks (currently for the kernel only) to DOORBELL
interrupts from the ENP2505's PCI bridge.
