NSF IUCRC Planning Workshop on
Experimental Research in Computer Systems

The Center for Experimental Research in Computer Systems (CERCS) invites you to participate in the National Science Foundation Industry-University Cooperative Research Center (NSF IUCRC) Planning Workshop on Experimental Research in Computer Systems.

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, October 2nd and 3rd, 2002 at the Georgia Institute of Technology -- College of Computing and School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Atlanta, Georgia.

The aim of the workshop is to bring leading researchers from academia, industry, and government together to discuss research projects and opportunities, and educational programs. The workshop will include presentations and demonstrations of technologies being developed by CERCS researchers; discussions of technology needs and trends; working groups that help guide our future research programs; and presentations of planned educational and outreach efforts.

Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with CERCS researchers (faculty and students) and other participants to gain a better understanding of ongoing programs, and help shape the future.
